So this is what happened, I turned my computer on today, and I found that:
1) After the 'loading OS' screen in the BIOS, when Windows should pop up, instead I get a blank screen with several rows of pixels at the top of the screen. The pixels are multicolored, mostly green. They change position very slightly, but the screen stays blank.
2) Tried removing one stick of RAM and trying slot 1, then tried putting same stick in slot 2 (on the same bank). Then I removed that stick of RAM and did the same thing with the other stick, putting it in both slots. No difference was made.
3) Removed the graphic card (GTX 260 55nm) and tried the same thing with a 7900 GS. I had nipped a tiny bit from the sides of the core in the past, and when I had installed an Accelero S1 I had flexed the PCB by putting too much pressure, so I was not expecting it to work. When I plugged it in and tried it, this time I got the blank screen and artifacts at the top, but the artifacts were a different pattern (solid orange lines with red pixels).
4) Put the 7900 GS in the second PCIe slot, again alternating the RAM sticks. No difference was made by doing this. I could not do the same with the GTX 260 due to clearance issues.
So these are the possibilities I have thought of:
A) The GTX 260 55nm has gone bad. I would be a sad panda if this were the case, I just bought this card from someone off here 6 weeks ago (and it does not have a warranty).
B) The motherboard's PCIe slots have gone bad. The fact that I get artifacts at the same part of the screen with two different graphic cards makes me think this.
