im not planning to do crossfire or overclock on this rig cus this is good enough for anything. my question is, since the 4870X2 is gonna need 400w on load, is 750w good enough for this setup?

p.s. im gonna get them at the beginning of Aug, w/ 2500 budget max. and gonna get a 22' LCD
 
Again, what are you using this computer for? And where are you planning on getting everything from?

Why do you feel the need to get a 4870X2? It will be overkill for that monitor. (BTW, which monitor did you have in mind?)

Two 320GB hard drives? Are you planning on using RAID? One 640GB hard drive is cheaper and easier to deal with over the long run.

Why do you need two optical drives?

If you aren't overclocking, stick with a 4GB kit of G.Skill DDR2 800 RAM.

The Xigmatek HDT-S1283 is a much better, and much cheaper, CPU cooler. Additionally, purchase the retention bracket, as it makes mounting much easier.
