I currently have a Thermaltake Silent PurePower 420W with Active PFC. The voltage goes like this:
3.3v = 30A
5v = 40A
12v = 18A
It currently powers all of this:
P4C 3.0ghz w/stock heatsink
Asus P4P800-E Deluxe
e-VGA 6800NU
WD 120gbSE 7200rpm IDE
IBM 60GXP 60gb 7200rpm IDE
Toshiba SD-M1402 12x DVD-ROM
Liteon 52x24x52 CD-RW
Pioner A06 DVD-Burner
Audigy Soundcard
2x256 PC3200
1 Case fan
I think thats it.
However, here in about 2 or 3 weeks, I will be going to this:
A64 3000+ 939-pin (winchester core)
Asus A8V-Deluxe
Everything else will be the same but the IBM drive is going to be replaced with a WD 80gbSE Sata Drive
I dont plan on overlcoking and if I do, it wont be anything big. I'm mainly concered because I hear that A64 needs a good 12V line. So far, this PSU that I have now has been great. I havent had a lockup or anything during games and I leave this computer on for days. I'm going to go ahead and give this PSU a try, but if it isnt a good PSU, I was wondering what you all thought about this one:
