I can get a brand new enermax galaxy 1000W for 225 shipped maybe lower if i can bargin with my friend. i know its way over overkill for my system but i know it will last me a long time with the 8 pin pci-e and high wattage. should i go for it?

I mean, I'm barely impressed with the PSU. If you NEEDED a PSU and could get it for < $200, ok... sure. But I wouldn't buy it for $200+ just because it looks like a good deal.

im overclocked to 4.0ghz, and its mad loud cuz its it practially at its max limit prob and the amount of heat it dumps out the back is amazing.
