I ran 3D Mark2001 today and got a 4069 Benchmark for my system below. Is that good? Not sure how to interpret the results.

Anyway, sorry 4 stealing your topic d00d, but i really didint want to make a new one.
So, my 3DMark01 is horrible.
My system:
AXP 2500+ @ 3200+ 200MHz FSB
Asus 6800'GT' (390/922)
512MB DDR Kinston 333@400
Gigabyte Ga7n400L Ultra 400
I get stupid 17500, but my friend with P4 3.0Ght, R9800Pro, and some nonamed RAMs gets around 20k! WTF is wrong with my machine?

This card is only 64Mb, it's a couple of years old, and for some reason there's a high-pitched "whine" that comes from it when being used. I just bought a stick of memory for my laptop($100!!!
) so my card may have to wait a couple of weeks. I'm not a HUGE gamer but that little "whining" is getting pretty annoying. I know it's the vid card cause I replaced it with a PCI vid card I had laying around and the noise goes away.
Thanks for all the input. BTW, I went to the "Black Friday" website and saw these two cards: Mad Dog FX5200 128mb AGP for $29.99 and a ATI All in wonder 9600XT 128mb for $124.99 @ Compusa. These will be on sale Friday. Any input on these two cards? I REALLY don't want to dish out the extra $$$ for an "all in wonder" card cause I already have a TV tuner card though. And yes, I'm a believer in the "you get what you pay for" but still would like input.
