Is this 6800nu overclock even possible?

Hi all,

I just recieved my Leadtek A400 TDH (6800nu) and clamped an NV5 onto it.
Although I couldn't open the last 4 pipes without bad artifacts, I was at least able to open the last vertex pipe.

After some testing my final OC using RivaTuner was 385 on the core and 980 on the memory! There are no artifacts and I'm hitting about 17k in 3DM01. Whilst I know I'm prob limited by my CPU, how can I be sure that the mem is really running this fast? Will pickup and A64 in the next month or so to help aleviate this.

Any thoughts?
 
Not a bad OC at all, at least on the RAM side! 985MHz on standard DDR is amazing, considering that the 1GHZ speed on GTs uses GDDR3.
IIRC, aren't the latencies on GDDR3 significantly higher than on older generations of RAM? (I'm thinking back to when GeForce FX5700 transitioned from GDDR2 to GDDR3, NVidia upped the clocks on newer models to compensate for higher latency.) The speed on the core isn't so hot, though- try flashing a GT BIOS onto your card to up the voltage. My PNY 6800NU is fully modded right now, and running 400/800. I'm about to flash in the BIOS from a PNY GT to see if I can up the core, though I don't expect anything to change in RAM speed.
