I just bought a new Samsung 2233SW 21.5" wide screen monitor from sams club. As I took it out of the box, I heard a sliding noise from inside of the monitor, sounded like what I though was a lose or broken part. Anyways, I plugged the monitor in thinking it would not work and it works perfectly. Should this monitor be making this sliding noise from within? Whenever i turn the monitor on its side I hear this noise.

Now there's a weird one. Hmmm...off the top of my head, it may be a small chunk of plastic? maybe a screw? But if it works, I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know if it would make a difference, but maybe try to get whatever is sliding around closer to the base of the lcd? As in, away from the screen and it's components as much as possible. That's just my two cents. :)

i did some research on this lcd because i bought one recently. just waiting for it to come in the mail. but what i found out is that the vesa mount on this lcd is not made correctly. the screws inside the monitor tend to come loose, so thats what is causing the rattling noise.
