Is there any gpu sag?

I just got my RTX 4080 Founders. I was wondering is there a gpu sag? This card is big and Nvidia didn't supply any form of support for the card. So has anyone had any problem with sag on the Founders Edition Card?

I did not see any sag on the founders 4080. Having that three slot bracket that's very secure to the card makes all the difference.

Why not get a level and see if there is any sag yourself after install? Asking us, especially with no pictures, is.... pointless. Besides, every case is different and you might have sag, or not, while others may not have sag, or do.

I have used multiple 30 series and 40 series founders cards and none of them had any noticeable sag at all. Most other brands sag really bad partly because of the IO bracket connection to the card being so flimsy.

Aorus Z790 Master has a reinforced metal PCI E 5 slot and there is still Gpu sag because it's not the slots fault or the cards IO it's the pure weight of the card. The far end will almost certainly have a tiny bit of sag If you look careful lining up the lines of the card to the lines of the heatsinks you can notice the sag but it is hard to tell unless you really look for it and size it up at the right angle.

The IO bracket is most certainly responsible for a great deal of the sag and in some cases all of it depending on the card. Jayz2cents has covered that and even my Phanteks case comes with a bracket that you put on the back side of the case after you install the GPU to pull down on the IO bracket. The problem on my Asus card is that the IO bracket has a flimsy connection so the card itself will sag even if that IO bracket is pulled down tight on the other side of the case. This was an issue on EVGA cards and supposedly addressed it on their 40 series.

Interesting. I still feel like the massive size and weight of the 4090 is pretty much impossible to not have some small tiny amount of sag even in the best case scenario. It's long think and heavy the furthest end will have a bit of sag due to gravity it would be unnatural for it to not it's like feels 5 pounds of metal and rectangular hanging on from only 2 opposite ends one 2 other sides are completely unsupported and gravity wins lol

Does the sag bend the card? I bought a used 3080 tuf gaming - and it looks in good condition and clean - but, I forgot to ask if they used a gpu support / anti-sag bracket.
I am looking on Amazon to buy one - but, I don't know which one to buy. Can anyone advise? Is it okay to post in this thread - this question?

I thought to use it since I couldn't find any recent posts on this topic.

Would you believe this site?:

My quick google search - suggests that gpu brackets are purchased - and recommended for 40 series, too. Maybe the Founders series is different as mentioned already. Its design is different (definitely shorter).
