Is there a way to make Mozilla open up an .exe file when downloading it instead of having to save it? I don't like Internet Explorer that much but I do like being able to download something and just click open instead of having to actually save it somewhere. Can Mozilla do that?

I can think of a lot of security reasons why opening up a downloaded EXE file automatically would be a really bad idea. Perhaps that's why the feature is not in Mozilla?

Stick "about:config" in the address bar, might be something usefull there...

After downloading you can click 'launch file'.

All IE does when you choose to run the file immediately is take out the 'launch file'-step, and save the file in a temporary folder. It's nothing special.
