Is there a good source for learning?

There are some areas of computing that I would like to expand my knowledge about without taking any college courses. For example, I would love to learn how to setup an exchange server for work that I could sync my caledar and my mail up with. Something that I could access anywhere etc. The type of info I would need is what type of hardware I would need to accomplish this, and then what software I would need to allow this to happen. And I would also need to know how to use the software if it isn't simple for first timers. Another area that I would like to increase my knowledge is in regards to the Adobe Creative Suite, I have access to it for work, and I know that it could make my life easier if I knew how to use it, but I don't. Is there a place out there that can help with this? Or maybe some good books that go over how to do these things.

Another example is that I would love to become a proficient user of Linux, but again, there is a bit of a learning curve.

Any ideas?
