Is there a difference between these two cards?

They are the samething. Although if it were me I would still get it from Newegg even though its 10 bux more.

Well, the circuit city website doesn't say much of anything about the actual specs of the card, so the only difference is the very end of the model number.

They appear to be the same to me. Also, if you have a circuit city nearby--buy it from the Circuit City website. Because you can always return it to the store if you have issues within the first 30 days and get a gift card or refund then turn around and buy it from the website. Also, you could purchase it in store and have the website ship it to you.

newegg comes with dark messiah. That could very well be the only reason for the DX. Evga would label their 7800gt's that came with the "free" mobo with a slightly different part number.

Actually, its about 16 - 20 bucks more with S/H. Though a free Dark Messiah is probably worth it. There's actually a $459.99 GTS on newegg too.

I like eVGA's service. They stand behind their products.

Also - I have a 10% off coupon for CCity, and the 30day in store return is nice in case I get a defective one.

I've really enjoyed Dark Messiah so far, though I am not quite finished with it. It will be nice that I'll get to see the last 25% of the game on my dual 8800GTX's and my Dell 30" Monitor.

This weekend should kick much ass.
