I installed new NB heatsink/fans on both of my motherboards today. They both died for some reason. Anyways, I just installed the NB heatsink/fan on my new computer. Right now it is running at 5200 RPMs as it should. What I am trying to figure out is what is the temp for it. It shows CPU temp at 36 right now and SYS TEMP at 32. There are no other temp readings.
Speedfan shows Fan 1, 2, and 3. Fan 2 is the CPU fan, fan 3 is the NB fan. It shows temp 1, 2, and 3 also. Temp 1 is the SYS TEMP, temp 2 is the CPU, and temp 3 is at 22C.
I'd love to know if I put the heatsink/fan on properly. My other motherboard tells me the NB temp, that one is using a heatsink only and is running 2 degrees cooler before I replaced the old broken fan. I mean when the fan worked. So I did that one perfectly.
If it was not on correctly, it would have over heated by now, right? Everything seems to be running fine (even overclocked). I also checked and other people with this MB said the temp is monitored.
