Is super slim sata cable a problem?

I bought a new Intel 520 ssd that will go in a tight space. I bought a Akasa Proslim sata cable for it. This cable is beautifully slim and flexible, a dream for tight spaces. This is NOT a Slimline sata cable. It's a normal sata cable form, using a very slim connector and cable. I question if this cable will cause problems with my speeds. The cable is so slim and different (in a good way) from other cables, that I can't figure out why every company is not producing them. Is it because this tiny flexible cable will cause problems in data transmission?

production costs may be higher, as well as durability may be affected, 2 theories why not mass produced.

If it meets spec for sata 2 or sata 3 then it meets spec, that's all there is to it.

The way SATA works means there is little risk of problems with the cable, unless it's done in a bad way, and I doubt it's the case with Akasa. There is shielding, 3 grounds, and differential signaling that will all help mitigate any noise.

There is only 1 spec for all sata cables to date. If it meets that spec it is fine.
