i have my q6600 b3 at 3ghz (334 fsb) with an arctic cooling freezer 7 pro. its on a p35-ds3r, and speedfan is giving me a reading of 37/37/33/34. now if i remember correctly dont u add (or subtract, cant recall) 15 degrees from what speed fan tells you? or is this no longer the case with the latest version?

From my experience it's pretty accurate with the newer versions. My BIOS readings and speedfan readings are very similar. (I'm using an AMD 3700+ CPU on an NF4-SLI board)

Yeh it is quite accurate.

BTW, why did you get a arctic cooling freezer 7 pro for a Quad?

i had it left over from my 6300, didnt want to buy a new cooling getup. plus im waaaayyyy to lazy for water cooling.

k and sorry for the newbness, one last question: on full load with orthos im getting 58/58/56/54. is that low enough to be comfortable with?
