Is something wrong with my GFX?

I have seen some artifacts since I bought my new GTX 1080 EVGA FTW. When I played gears I would notice it a lot like distortion of reflections on the tops of buildings and at one point I loaded in and could not see anything. Now in overwatch I noticed these bullet holes. They'd look normal and then when I would turn just a little they would turn into black squares. is my card faulty?

Yeah, that's pretty bad. As a simple troubleshooting step, try down-clocking your memory, maybe around 200-300MHz. If that solves your problem, then it's definitely time to return it since any card (an FTW one especially) being unable to run at stock speeds is pretty unacceptable.

thanks for your quick reply. I was afraid of that. But thankfully its within the 30 days and I can still get an amazon replacement, EVGA wouldve sent me a refurbished one

i believe you.. their customer service is great. but apparently this card has been returned a few times and people have complained about getting refurbished cards
