Is power supply gone?

It’s been a few years. Try to boot my rig. It starts then shuts down. A few seconds later it boots. This is in loop, just keeps doing it. so is it gone or am I missing something?

One inexpensive thing to check with a boot loop problem would be replacing the battery on the motherboard.

Thank you. I knew it needed a new battery. It’s been running none stop for years. And when ever I needed to shut down. Which wasn’t much. But when I booted it. The date and time were off. Just gotta fine which battery to use.

So how do you remove the battery? What’s holding It in?

If the holder is like this (most common on newer motherboards) press the metal spring that I drew a very crude arrow next to and the battery will pop right out.
