A little back story:
Friday night I noticed my connectivity barely doing anything. Couldn't even bring up speedtest.net so I went and power cycled my cable modem and wireless router. I plugged them both back in and had the same issue. It was late so I went to bed. The next day, the same issue. Power cycled them both again, waited several minutes, nothing. I should mention I have a machine hard wired to the router, and another one connected wireless. I was doing all the connectivity tests with the hard wired machine. So I finally call Comcast, they reset my modem and I get connectivity on the hard wired machine so I let Comcast go.
So I go back to my wireless machine to try and connect, and I can see the wireless network, but cannot connect to it. I can connect to another wireless network and bring up webpages fine, but mine wont connect wireless. Again, my hard wired connection (going through the wireless router) is working fine. So after borrowing my neighbors wireless to do some Google troubleshooting, I see a suggestion to update the firmware. So I do and there is an update. I download it, apply it successfully, still have the same issue. Then I went and took off all the security (encryption) and just made it an unsecured network. Went back to my wireless machine to try and connect, same thing. Still couldn't connect. I also verified I could connect to the neighbors wireless with both machines and I can so I don't think it's a driver issue, but I went ahead and reinstalled them both anyways. Same issue.
So now I'm starting to think the wireless part of my wireless router isn't working anymore. I figured I would post here to get a few more sets of eyes on the situation before going out and buying a new router.
My router is a Belkin N150 b/g wireless router (model: F6D4230 V1000).
Thanks for any insights.
