Is my Western Digital WD3200AAKS running as fast as it should? the reason im asking is the results i got in sisoftware sandra lite, and HD Tune.

Sandra

HD Tune

ATA/133? i thought that was around back in the 90's. is this the correct mode? if not how do i change it?

Heres some benchmarks i just did on the drive.

the 5400 RPM reading from sandra is troubling, what should i do? RMA it? anybody else benchmarked this drive?

And what makes you think these results are bad?

because numbers are relative and if you have nothing to compare them to, they mean absolutely nothing.

OP: yes those are very good numbers from what I can see. you actually just answered a question i've had, so thank you :)

bah i was just going by what sandra read as the rpm, and i thought maybe i wasnt getting all the potential performance.
