Is my system "old"?

Well my system isn't a slouch for power. Allthough I could definatley bennifit from a nicer video card.

I do know people with faster. Dual Xeon 3..0's with 1MB cache and 2 GB of DDR 333 ram as the Xeons don't operate on the 800MHz bus.

Then a nice Ultra 320 SCSI array over half a terrabyte in size. And a Radeon 9700Pro ontop of that for gaming.

Theres always bigger and badder gaming rigs. Unless you've got 10K to throw around on a computer. Question is are you happy with your machine?

Aside from my video card I would say yes.

CPU: Pentium 3 750 MHrz
RAM: 256MB of PC133
Video Card: Geforce4 MX440
Sound Card: Soundblaster Live! 16-bit
17" Monitor (not flat or LCD panel)
40x 16x 40x CD-RW
I also have a printer, scanner, DSL internet connection....The modest stuff.
 
how can that system be old with the 9800XT??? it's the current top dog of video cards.
