I have an OCZ Agility. The last few days I have had two blue screens. Both times my PC froze and I noticed my hard drive light on constant. Then after about a minute the blue screen came up. Argg I forget now what it said. The first time it happened I rebooted and Windows crashed again and blue screened this time saying no system config. I powered down. Tried again and the second time it went.

Yesterday this happened again, but I couldn't get it to load back in Windows. I then tried to run a restore from my Windows home server, but the hard drive was not being recognized. I could see my 500Gb in there. I found out at boot the bios didn't see it either. After a few times of on/off it showed in the bios and I loaded the restore disc and got to the section to pick the restore. I did, but then it seemed to freeze right before the hard drive selection screen in the restore. I gave up and went to bed. Today I get home from work and power on. Windows 7 goes right in. Windows log shows nothing except unexpected power failure or reboot. Any ideas or anyone have something similar. My next step was going to be switch it to a different sata port.
 
If you get another blue screen, make sure you report on what it says. This could be a memory issue also. Run memtest

Any word on whether this helped, eagleknight?

I'm getting random freezes/BSOD on my Agility 1 followed by the system not being able to detect the SSD. A hard power cycle brings it back. I've replaced the power supply and tinkered with a ton of voltage settings, etc in the BIOS - I'm beginning to think it's the SSD itself also (since it's the only thing that shows symptoms).

I remember having to wipe the SSD last time I upgraded the firmware - it looks like 1.7 doesn't require that...will look into this when I get some time. Just curious if it helped the OP or anyone else.

Bump

For anyone else that encounters this, I took an image backup of the drive, moved to my laptop's Intel X25-M 120GB, and did a firmware update and secure-erase on the SSD with OCZ's tool.

Re-installed Windows and tested for a few days - no problem. It would hang/BSOD every couple of hours before that.

Secure Erase was OCZ's recommendation before sending it in for service, I really thought it was a hardware problem - but I guess that did the trick.

Maybe a side effect of previous firmware upgrades or something, or maybe Trim gone wrong...I dunno. But it works fine now.
