Hardware I'm using : SoundBlaster Live! X-Gamer 5.1, Logitech Z-560's.
The first symptom was loss of the rear speakers. I have all of the proper drivers installed and everything is plugged in properly.
Next, though I'm not sure if it's related... my computer would experience random fritz's...the monitor would blink off and the sound would stutter, then it would come back as normal; this is while running Winamp, I'm not sure if it happened when it wasn't running, I don't recall.
Now everything is working fine with none of the fritz's, but no sound at all. I've checked all the settings and everything appears as it should be. Does this sound like a dead sound card?
