I have a MCP350 pump. My temps have been high with my WC system in two different rigs. I tested the pump out in my sink to see what the flow rate was. It couldn't pull the water up from the sink, once I lowerd the pump it did flow but the rate didn't seem too high the water gently flow instead of looking pushed. Does it seem like my pump is working correctly or not ?

the MCP 350 isn't a very high flowing pump. what it is known for is it's pressure output.

i should be putting out a bit shy of 6 litres per minute. if it can almost fill a one litre liquid measuring cup (about 4 cups, if you don't have metric kitchen gear) in 10 seconds, it's most likely working properly in terms of zero resistance flow. just make sure that the pump is primed first, since it's not rated to self-prime.

i can't think of an easy way to measure the peak head, since that things rated for better than 13 feet. it would just take too much tubing to test that easily.
