Is my PSU Powerful Enough?

Ok so I cannot find the exact output for my psu first off. It is the one in the Dimensions 4600. Right now everything is running fine and here is what I have connected.

1x40gb harddrive
1x9800 pro 128mb
1x40 speed burner
1x ethernet card?

Then of course the ram and processor. Should I be able to put in another hard-drive of about 120gb? If need be I will probably just swap hard-drives if I cannot use both at the same time.


Also on a side note, what is the difference with whether a hd is SATA or not? I found a western digital at newegg that is 120gb, one that is SATA and one that is not with a $15 prices difference or so. The connections seem the same.

my friend's HP with a P4 2.8 512MB had a 200W!!!!!!! i believe it.

my comp 2800+ 120 gig hd 512 ddr 2700 came with a atx250 psu. i now have a fortron blue storm cuz i bought a 6800 NU and am plannin to add more ram. my sis's HP has a 185 watt psu, i think atx as well. she is running very little but i was extremely surprise at the psu's they use, such low wattages. her specs are 1.8 mhz 512 sd ram gf4mx440 120 gig hd.

just replace the 200w psu with an antec which u can get fro around 50 bucks...

If its a Micro ATX or proprietary size you'll probably want to get a PC Power & Cooling Dell PSU. They make them for Dell. You can also get an Enermax Micro ATX PSU or a SilenX that should work well.
