Is my PSU dead?

Hello,
a few days ago i came home from school to see my computer off. i found this odd because i never have my computer off. whenever i'm not on it, its rendering something (and has been for about 2-3 weeks). I press the power button but nothing happens. I'm thinking that maybe the switch is broken, so i open up the case, and try and short the switch header with a screw driver but still nothing. I reset the cmos and still nothing. this is an asus k8n motherboard, so it's got a green led next to the cmos battery, and it was ON the whole time, yet i could not get the darn computer to turn on, no fans on for a second, nothing. Lastly, i tried unplugging the psu from the motherboard, and plugging in a case fan into the 12v rail. i then jumped the on signal wire on the 20pin, but nothing happened. This leads me to conclude that my psu is dead. is this right? here are my specs:
Antec True 380s psu (from sonata)
ASUS k8n motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 2800 754
ATI all in wonder 9800pro
1Gb crucial pc3200 memory
2 7200rpm western digitals
1 sony dvd burner
1 floppy/media reader
120mm, and 80mm case fans

could i be overloading my psu, and keeping it on for a few weeks, half the time under heavy load, ruin my psu slowly?
Thanks in advance

Probobly, i say get a new psu, and if it dosent boot, rma the mobo and go in order from thare

If you jumpered the green wire to a black and didn't get anything... it's dead.

can someone suggest one for me? is it the low wattage that killed it, or do i just need a very durable, long lasting power supply?

ok my dad says i can get a powersupply tomarow, but he wants to keep it around $50. any suggestions? at least 380w (which is what my old one was)
