I don't see how those temperatures could be correct, maybe the board temp, but not the chip temperature, unless your chip has it's own mini-refrigerator on it. You wouldn't happen to have a separate temperature sensor would you?

uhh... i think that's the other way around. a 9xx series Pentium D isn't supposed to be like 10C idle... it's still around 25-30 something C. my friend's got a 955XE and he doesn't run that cool. I think you got the two numbers mixed up.

don't use AC btw, you'll get water evaporation = water vapor = bad for computer. lol. but that's just FYI. I don't know how you got 16C unless you had a hella good cooler and you seated it perfectly... and maybe you can get 25, but i don't know baout that 16. sounds very sketchy, almost like a temp monitor error. Use a different monitor

Picked up the same board today (P5N32-SLI Deluxe) witha D940 and have the same temp issues.
You'd think Asus would at least release a bios fix for this (not to mention testing things like this before releasing to the public).

lol, meh. o well. I just hope my board reads right temps. I had a broken clip on my heatsink and my full load temps were upwards of 70C on my 630 @ 3.6ghz, lol. Got it fixed now, no damage visible and no performance loss.
o yea, i just read the title, and even if your monitors are messed up, your processor should be fine. I'd go download throttlewatch and just pay attention to the throttling part (not the vcore or the temps since I've gotten 1.91V readings on throttle watch for my VCore and your temp monitors seem screwed up). Reseat your heatsink if the throttle part of the utility starts to have red peaks.
