Is My Power Supply Enough?

Currently have an FSP 500W Blue Storm. Here's the link to its predecessor which has identical specs:

I was thinking of upgrading my card from an ATI 800xl to an MSI 8800GT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127329

Would my power supply be able to power this card properly?

Rest of my hardware:
Gigabyte 965p-ds3
e6400
2 gigs g. skill ram
4 internal hard drives
x-fi xtrememusic

I know someone mentioned a while back that since my power supply only puts out 18amps on each of its 2 rails that it wasn't enough.

40Amps on the +12v rails that is more than enough to power that 8800GT.

My friend built a system identical to specs in mine, except he is using the same PSU you are and he's just fine.
