I might be in denail but..

I have a 120GB Magnetic Data Solution ( they sale refurbished Western Digital Hard Drives)

During boot it says bad, please backup and replace. I boot windows off a diffrent drive and I get the blue screen telling me that the 120GB drive has unreadable segments on it. I downloaded Wester digital program and the drive failed.

I reformat the drive can I still use it/? or should I just throw it away?

It was only 1 partion on that drive that it said there were errors on what about the other half?

Doesn't sound good. You could try to format, won't cost you anything except the data. Odds are it's a dead issue if the diag program told you it was bad.

Iv been able to get 99% of my data back from this drive. Im going to format it and keep it until it wont work anymore.

You can't *really* llf a modern drive. Just dump zeroes over it with a Linux boot disk:
"dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hda" for primary master
hdb for primary slave. Probably best to just take out all the other disks so you don't nuke the wrong disk by mistake.
