For the past few days, one of my HDD have been clicking then freezing randomly again, but when it did it this morning, it clicked and froze, unfroze, click and froze, and kept doing it. It freaked me out since I wasn't sure if it was the harddrive with all my important things, so I restarted the computer. It kept doing that so I shut it down and started it up again and it still did that (click read/write [I think?] click) so I shut off my computer and popped open the side of the case. One of the HDD's power was connected to a bunch of things so I tried just using one cord for just my two HDD and so far no odd clicking. I'm running Maxtor's PowerMax scanning thing on them to see if anything shows.. but is there any chance it was just not getting enough power to it?

you should do a back up and get a new hard drive if your data is important to you
