Hello,

My computer is a bit dated and i'm wondering if it is powerful enough to handle a 22" LCD monitor. I am a gamer who plays CoD4. Specs:

AMD 3000+ (1.81 ghz)
1.00gb RAM
GeForce 7600GT 256mb

I would like to get an Acer or Hanns-G 22" with the 5ms refresh if possible but if I have to settle for a 19" if needed.

Thanks!

yeah its plenty, my father runs a 24" 1920x1200 L245WP on a 5900FX. Ofcorse its all 2d work. Gaming at 1680 x 1050 would be a bit much on a 7600GT if you want to play mostly newer games.

I think you would want to upgrade your video card for CoD 4 at 22 inch resolution. Or you could run everything on low settings and it may be enough. Why not upgrade your video card with a cheap 9600GT at newegg. Their service and prices are top notch. You could probably get one of those for under $140.

My little brother runs a 19 inch widescreen with a 7600GS and plays Oblivion on low settings so it may work fine for a 19 inch widescreen which is like 1440 X 900 or something like that.

You can always run the game in a lower resolution and/or just tweak video settings.
