My current build is now running about 2 years old, the specs are in the signature. I am currently running a single 27" 2560X1440 Monitor and I am planning on adding a second 2560x1440 monitor. My Nvidia GT 240 isnt the most powerful card but it has 96 cuda cores, 512MB gddr5 memory, and has been a decent card for my needs thus far. I don't play very many demanding games. I do alot of graphic design work with the adobe creative suite (CS5.5) and play alot of 2k sports games that are console ports on the one monitor at medium settings at a lower res and they run ok.

My question is that if I get another 2560X1440 monitor would running the adobe suite on 2 monitors (planning on upgrading to CS6) cause my current video card to struggle in any way? is 512MB enough? I would still only plan on gaming on one monitor.

Why not just grab a nice 6950, 6970? would do wonders over the current card you have even after a slight overclock...

I am under the impression that the Adobe creative suite is optimized for Nvidia's CUDA technology...At least from what I have read.
