Is my 9600 dead?

Alright yesterday I was playing D3 (ya somebody who likes it) and my computer just shut off. So I didn't think anything of it pressed the power button and my monitor said no signal. Well I made sure my video card was all the way in it seemed a little loose and I thought that would fix it but still no signal. Pulled the 5600U out of my pops computer, which I am on now, put it in and it fired right up no problems at all. Put the 9600 in my pops computer and it fired right up no problem at this point I was like wtf. Tried 3 different monitors and I am at a loss I don't know why this 9600 will not work. Got it about 2 weeks ago and put a Vantec Iceberg on it (it came with a crappy passive heatsink on it) and it has been running perfect OC at 378/243 so I can't RMA. PLZ help.
 
Maybe its your PSU. Also you mean the 9600 runs on ur pop's computer right?
But not your own anymore.
Cuz after reading what you wrote you sorta confused me.
 
wait, so what I understood, is that your PC will run the 5600 and your dads runs your 9600 fine?


edit: yes, that is what you said. I am thinking that it is PSU as well, try reputting your video card in your machine.
