Is it possible to run.....

You can drive 2 different monitors with two different refresh rates. There should be a setting in your GPU's software (I can vouch for AMD's CCC--not sure about Nvidia's) to set each monitor's refresh rate separately. Not sure what cards support specific refresh rates though. But in principle, you can set rates separately.

Of course, if you're talking about multi GPU gaming (across 2+ monitors), then that's a different story.
 
Yes. You can set this in the Windows screen resolution advanced settings, it doesn't matter what kind of cards you have.

I have 5 different refresh rates set on the 7 monitors I'm using right now.
 
I'm not the thread starter but had to ask...all those would be in extended desktop though, not clone mode correct? I hadn't had success having clone mode with two different refreshes (for example my main rig in my bedroom is hooked to my VG278H desktop monitor and a 55" LCD). Would be nice to be able to not have to extend and drag windows between monitors when I want to lay back in bed and chill out :)

Yes, they are all in extended. You cannot clone at different refresh rates or resolutions.
 
Make the 144Hz monitor the primary.

Some games will lock its framerate to the refresh rate of the primary, and all other frustrating issues caused by divergent refresh rates. It's best to keep all monitors running at the same refresh rate, if at all possible.
