Is it possible to have a "tri-boot" system of Win98, XPpro, and Vista?

I'm curious if it's possible to set up a tri-boot system of Windows 98, XP Pro, and Vista. Why?

Well, there are some older games out there that won't work correctly with XP, plus Windows 98 has the nice "restart to MSDOS" option for those old DOS games. I would use XP Pro for anything else that would work in Vista, and Vista would be the 64 bit version to take advantage of my procesoor.

I wouldn't put all 3 operating systems on the same drive. I'd probably get a 20 gig drive just for a separate Windows 98 drive. And then have a bigger drive with separate partitions for XP and Vista.

Has anyone tried anything like this?

1) You could always try DOSbox for those old games, and/or a virtual machine for XP and/or Win98.

2) You don't "need" a 64 bit OS to "take advantage" of your processor.

DOSbox works for DOS games, but some Win95/98 games won't run as good unless you have that version of Windows.

How would you run a "virtual machine"?

You don't need tri-boot if you put Win98 on a seperate drive. Just pick the drive to boot from in BIOS or F12.
