Is it possible to get the hard drive dock to shut down with the computer?

Whenever I shut down my computer, the hard drive dock doesn't shut down with the computer. I'll have to manually press the power button or the hard drive keeps on spinning. Is it possible to get the hard drive dock to power off with the computer?

There is no software control. It has to be done with the power switch on the external case.

You could possibly install the external drive into the PC.

A 5v or 12v relay tapped into the PSU of the PC would probably work, but it requires having extra wires coming out of your case and cutting and splicing into the power cord of the dock.
