Is it just me or did Google's search box font grow?

They've made some changes in the past 24 hours or so, that's just one of them: a larger default font in the search term entry box, yep.

You are right. They must have changed the font size. I thought it was just Chrome

Considering the prevalence of very high resolution monitors nowadays, it's not an unwelcome addition I suppose. I use the Google search box in Firefox which is of course not affected by the change on the actual Google search pages, but even so, it can't hurt us old bastards and our failing eyesight.

Funny. I'm using Firefox 3.0.14 on my main machine and it doesn't seem like it got the memo on the new Google page.
