Is GDR4 Imminent?

[Cannibal Corpse]

Or should I got ahead with my order of GTX 512MB? What is the big "secret" of nVIDIA on Jan 06?

[robberbaron]

Probably a 90nm G7x with more pipelines or a higher clockspeed or something like that.

Or something that's truly a surprise and none of us can predict.

honestly, spending $700 then realizing 1 month later that its obsolete is really painful. I mean the 6800 lasted at least 10~12 months. What should I do?

I belive that I read on the Inquirer that samsung is already working on Gddr 4 but who knows. Sometimes you have to ignore some things the INq says but they have been right on the money a few times recently. BTW where did you read about this big secret in Jan 07?
