is Far Cry 2 DX10?

It is not using the Cry Engine 2. Infact it is using an engine created from the ground up called Dunia and is rumored to look better than Crysis and perform 3 times better at the same resolutions using existing DX10 cards. On top of that it is multiplatform and has much larger outdoor areas than Crysis.

No it's not, it's not even being developed by Crytek.
Ubisofts Montreal Studio is building it on their own engine (Dunia). Look it up...
It should be DX9 and 10.
 
My bad, I saw the wiki after. I was under the impression that with such a low turn-around time between 2 titles it was just a re-skin. Again my apologies

I've just been getting interested in this game after playing Crysis. (I didn't play any of the Far Cry games before) But it kinda sounds too good to be true, especially with what little gameplay they've shown, ie. none. Do you think this is really gonna come out end of March?
 
I never really got into Far Cry, but Crysis SP is nice. However, as its been said before, and as will be said again, screenshots are the wool over our eyes. Looks pretty in concept.

thats exactly what i was about to say... i mean yeh crysis looks great and all but it doesnt look nowhere near as good as the screens i was looking at prior to its release.

still i hope this turns out to be a hit... ive been waiting for a sequel for years lol
