Is coil whine present on the 980 reference cards?

I have a high range of hearing and cannot stand coil whine.

Do any of you have a reference 980 GTX that are familiar with coil whine - does it have it?
 
I have ref 980 with hardware in sig without coil whine. I am pleased with the card.
 
I think most if not all owners of the reference 980 report no coil whine issues with the card.

I'm starting to think there's a reason why the 970 has no reference board and is priced so cheaply. Almost seems like a trollol by nVidia.
