Is Chrome brighter (targeting lower than 2.2) compared to win10 viewer or other browsers?

Hey,
I've had interesting discovery today and not yet sure if it's an issue on my end or another Chrome bug/problem.
I've just noticed that images become washed out/brighter when viewing in Chrome in comparison do Edge or windows 10 images viewer. It's not due to uploading. Just drag image to view it in chrome or upload to loseless image uploader to be sure.

For easiest test open http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/black.php in Chrome and Edge and alternate the windows with alt+tab. The result is completely different. Chrome is brighter and more squares are visible.
The downloaded images are the same as viewed in Edge, so I guess it's the Chrome color management messing with something?

It's a bit crazy since I've been using chrome to test few monitors lately... The only comparison I have is playstation4 browser and it matches the Edge. So either my nvidia settings are messing with chrome or something else. I do not have any icc profiles loaded at the time too.
Can anyone check if it's a thing or is it just time for windows reinstall on my end ?

edit: IT TOTALLY IS CHROME FAULT. There is a simple fix:
https://www.thefreewindows.com/21668/washed-colors-google-chrome-easy-and-reversible-fix/
chrome://flags/
Force color profile
scRGB linear (HDR where available)

Now it looks identical to edge and desktop. Man... people need to know about this. Everyone is using chrome and it cheats on colors/gamma.

It's not lagom only. Load any picture just in chrome and the difference is there.
