Is cellfactor multi core otpimized?

Just a quick questions, if i got a q6600, would i see a boost in cellfactor performance from say an x2 4200+
 
Physx engine is multicore optimised, so I think you should get some performance improvements, but the performance isn't even close to what you get if you get a physx card.
