Is ATItool still relevant for checking artifacts?

On one of my old systems I've got an old 8800GT and I've been overlclocking it with MSI afterburner. It runs stable @ 700 gpu/1000 mem but I want to push it to it's limits. It's got adequate cooling with a Thermalright HR-03 GT with a Scythe S-flex fan.

Is there anything current after ATITool for checking artifacts? Thanx.

EVGA OC scanner. Torture to the limits.. Also check errors, artifacts, and others..

ATI tool is still relevant but my history with it was mixed. I could run it 24 hours with no artifacts but once I played certain games I got lock ups and/or artifacts.

Artifact scanning programs are pretty obsolete as a whole now thanks to the architecture complexity of modern GPU's. The best way to test for stability is to just play modern demanding games.

i use crysis 3 to test OC and temps xD...

I found this out with EVGA OC. Ran fine during stress test but once I ran 3DMark06 it crashed.
