Is amd back?

Based on marketing metrics, absolutely Yes. Also lots of leaks that the 6800 series cards can OC upwards of 19% to ~2500Mhz and be stable. 6080s for contrast don't have much room for OC.
 
Man, i'm really considering a drive to microcenter in the morning... Its been awhile since ive bought a high end card.

I ended up having to work overtime, but i was about 7 mins away. I get off at 6am, so chances are i would of gotten one.
 
I've had a lot of luck lately buying AMD stuff. More so than Nvidia. I got a 5600x, 5800x and a 6800XT. The only thing I can't buy is a 5900x, but BH said sometime in Jan.

For reference this is the first AMD anything I have had in 7 years. First AMD processors in over a decade.
