Is 950w enough

I used the PSU Calculator for my build and it said I needed 900w and recommended a 950w psu. So I ordered a Corsair 950tx to take advantage of a great sale.

My build:
Mobo: P6X58D-E
CPU: i7 930
RAM: 6 GB DDR3 1600
GPU: 2x GTX 480 SLI
HDD: 1TB 7200 SATA 6Gb/s
ODD: DVD
Cooling: Corsair H70
Case: Antec 1200

Everything that I read now says that I should have a 1000w psu or bigger. Is that just to give overclocking headroom? I figured a small OC into the PSU Calulator, and set it to configure based on everything at max load. I don't plan to go too high 3.4 would make me happy. This is my first time building my own PC. I won't be putting it all together until the end of the month. Is it important for me to RMA the 950TX and buy a 1000w, or would I be able to work with what I have coming?

Thank You. That is a relief. I knew that 2 GTX 480s would draw a lot of power I just wasn't sure how much after finding conflicting information.

950W is a lot of power. You will most likely have a hard time using 100% of all four cores outside of benchmarks, so the power consumption usually doesn't ever get close to the maximum.
