Hey guys, I'm getting the NZXT Hale90 PSU and I'm wondering if I should get the 850w or the 750w.
I'm wondering, since it's a gold certified PSU, if I can get the 750w and have enough room to comfortably set this up without problems. I don't plan on upgrading for a while, this is what will be in my rig for probably 2 years.
i7-2600k (I will overclock to 4.4ghz and stop there)
2x EVGA GTX 570's Overclocked as well.
Asus Sabertooth TUF (rev 3.0) motherboard
8GB G Skill Sniper 1866mhz DDR3 RAM
WD Caviar Black 640GB HDD
128GB Samsung SDD
LG DVD Drive
$35 Sound Card with S/PDIF input for my bose surround sound
NZXT Phantom with 3x 200mm blue LED fans, 3x 120MM Blue LED fans, 1x 140mm blue LED fans, and 2x 12" UV Cold Cathodes.
Now, I'm thinking 850w would be enough for all of this, but if I can cheap out and get 750w with no problem, I'd rather do that (I need to save money where I can, this build is costing me $2,000 and I just want to save as much as possible with it).
So, do you think 750w would be enough, since it's gold certified? Also, the fans at maximum are rated 20w each, I believe. So that would be 7 fans at 20w max each.
