Is 61C acceptable or not?

depends on the user. its within amd specs but not a comfortable temp to be at. life span might be shortend, how much is unknown. do what you can to bring to temps down if you think its too high.
 
prime95 seems to get procs way hotter than in real world apps, what are ur comps while gaming?
if its above 55, thats a little too hot.
 
After a run of 3dmark 03 its 51C. Ive also lowered voltage to 1.7....seems to still be going ok, havnet tested with prime yet. Ill try some UT2k4 and FarCry on it soon.
