is 6 screen 3D surround possible?

If someone had a bank of their own would it be possible to go 6 monitor 3Dsurround if they had 3 nvidia gpus? I was looking at a FS thread where someone was selling 3 and the idea popped in my head. This would be along the lines of eyefinity6.
 
Not currently, you only get three monitors running in Surround, though you can drive 6 monitors while not in surround with 3 GPUs.
 
What about SLI, can you SLI, and have more than 3 monitors active?
 
Surround only works in SLI and to run six monitors you have to disable both SLI and Surround. So you can't drive 6 screen Surround but you can drive 6 monitors independently with 3 cards or 4 monitors with two cards but you have to turn off Surround and SLI to do it.
