iRiver's tech support is awesome. i crashed my player and after 3 phone calls, i got a really cool dude that said that they will exchange it under warranty. the reason i called 3 times was coz the first 2 times they told me that they do not repair player at all and if u send it in under warranty, they simply send u baq a brand new unit. now i am waiting to get mine baq. so i just wanted to let u ppl know that iRiver's tech support is frikin awesome.
 
your right. my better half has a i-river that went belly up and they replaced it promtly. in an age where everyone really want's to quit customer service completely and let things break and make it "hassling" to get an rma or replacement (depending on the price), it's worth mentioning a company that treat's customers right. i-river is really good. hope it stays that way.
