Which iPod should I get? Or if not an iPod, what music player? I was hoping to have something that can play videos, but play them via an RCA output (Probably requires an adapter, no biggie)....iPods can do that right? Can any of the other top players (Gigabeat, Sansas, etc) play video? Are they easy-to-use?

adapter means accessory, accessory means ipod.
an ipod would probably be your best bet, since they have more acccessories available to them. almost all other mp3 players are plagued with the problem of not enough accessories. plus seeing that some of my friends are able to put the videos on them, it probably isnt that hard to do it.

I have an Ipod video and am not too impressed by it. It is ok, but the screen is way too small. If you want to listen to 90% music, I would say get the Ipod video. IF you are looking to do any more video watching than that, I would say go Creative's route. They are starting to get more 3rd party support for accessories and such. Also their screen quality is superior. The Ipod video can display 65,000 colors and the Creative Vision M and Vision W can display 252,000+ colors. That is probably going to be my next portable video player, they are also getting awesome reviews.

iPod video will play at 480p I believe, and the iTunes store has been upgraded to provide 480p videos, so basically will look like a DVD player coming through an s-video connection. The screen is great too, so no problems watching it directly for short periods.

A lot of the newer cases are out soon, some shipping today. I just bought the new 8 gb Nano and really like it so far. The aluminum case is much nicer then the previous Nano and won't scratch as easily.
I also bought the Nike+ kit and it works really well. It is another reason the iPods seem to be the best buy, because of all the great 3rd party support.
