Ipod touch and Online E-mail services

I was just wondering, since the Ipod touch has a web browser and OSK, would i be able to view and send e-mails from a web based email service? (such as hotmail or a university mail system)

As long as those mail services accept the Safari web browser you'll be fine. I know that Hotmail will work as long as you do it in the classic mode.
 
gmail works fine in normal and mobile mode.....my university webmail works great too
 
awesome, i haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet, but i did buy an 8gb touch yesterday. I really like the look and feel of the device.
