Hey guys,

Was just wondering if you guys could recommend any good ipod straps I could find online to use for when I am at the gym.

You know, the ones that let you strap them to your arm.

Tons available online for a dime a dozen but wanted some personal opinions.

:D

What kind of iPod? I've used the Belkin Sport with my iPod Touch (black one in the review). I only use it for running and sometimes leg days. It's a little to intrusive for my upper body workouts but you may feel differently.

The screen is still pretty responsive with the plastic covering except it's hard to use the slide volume control. The accelerometer also gets confused sometimes and it will get stuck on coverflow but all you have to do is shake your arm. The arm band seems a little tight and can get uncomfortable after a while. I really don't use it all that much unless I'm just running outside. I usually just keep it in the hardshell case and keep it in my pocket for lifting. Since the weather has been colder and I run on an indoor track, I just hold it so I can use the lap timer.

If your just listening to playlists and don't interact with your iPod very much during your workout it would probably be great. I find myself messing with mine a lot so it is less convenient than just keeping it in my pocket. I would probably get used to it if I used it more.

I use the standard, apple brand white arm band, works fine, no complaints for running.

Same here no problems except for lat pull downs etc. antthing that requires raising my arms over the head can be an irritation. Otherwise no prob. As stated earlier what type of iPod do you have?

If it were me, I woud just buy a mini or similar and roll with that. I think they have a nice clip that holds them on.
